Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation Policy:
- Consultation Services:
- Clients may cancel their consultation appointments with One Step Law by providing at least 24 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled appointment time.
- To cancel an appointment, clients must contact One Step Law via phone or email and provide their appointment details.
- Legal Services:
- Clients may cancel their engagement for legal services with One Step Law at any time by providing written notice.
- In the event of cancellation, clients may be subject to fees for services already rendered or expenses incurred on their behalf, as outlined in the engagement agreement.
Refund Policy:
- Consultation Services:
- One Step Law offers a full refund for consultation appointments that are cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice.
- Refunds for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee, as specified in the cancellation policy.
- Legal Services:
- Refunds for legal services provided by One Step Law are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
- Clients may be eligible for a refund of any unused portion of their retainer fee, minus fees for services already rendered or expenses incurred on their behalf.

Exceptions:
- Emergency Situations:

- One Step Law reserves the right to make exceptions to the cancellation and refund policy in cases of unforeseen circumstances or events beyond the client’s control.
